My Design Process

How I create for you.

The wireframe I created for the Lionel Grand Giveaway landing page

The wireframe for Lionel’s Grand Giveaway landing page. Usually simpler in design because the focus should only be on the structure of the page, I’ve added Lionel’s logo to encourage Lionel to feel that they have ownership over the page. Orange was applied to each section to make its purpose stand out.

You can’t be a designer without caring.

No matter what kind of designer you want to be, from animation to interior, you always have to care about who you’re creating for.

Design Thinking is extremely important when solving problems and communicating effectively to the customer.

1) Empathize with the customer. It’s the key in unlocking solutions and success.

2) Understanding the customers’ problems and challenges are is a necessity.

3) Ideate possible solutions. Create a design system.

4) Flesh out a solution by prototyping the end product.

5) Testing the solution is a good way to see how successful a solution can be.

6) Iron out any issues with the prototype; iterate the above points if necessary.

My Design Process is:

  • Talking with the customer about the problems they’re looking to solve with their product.
  • Researching as I create possible solutions.
  • Sketching out ideas and working with the customer to wireframe their site.
  • Making style tiles/mood board of what will work well for the client’s product, and finalize it with them.
  • Creating a high-fidelity mock-up to present to the customer. Once approved …
  • Building the product.

You can never stop learning and growing.

Books, videos, online courses, and talking to my peers are very important in developing myself and learning about design techniques, trends, and technology.

Currently, I’m learning more about video editing, artificial intelligence and self-publishing.
